Amy's on the run, again. With nothing more than the vaguest of directions she's given a new name, a new job and a new place to live. Heading from New York to Colorado she meets Liam. Hot, arrogant and rich Amy knows she should stay far away from the man, especially given the types of questions he asks. It puts him at risk, along with her new life. But like a moth to a flame she can't resist the way he makes her body feel. Unfortunately for Amy things don't add up. There's the non existent boss, the strange envelope that appears without her "handlers" mark, a decreasing bank account, a neighbor who seems too familiar and the strange way Liam sometimes acts.

This books was different than the other NA/YA books I've been reading lately and the book started off on a high note. Not only was the promise of hot sex in the air there was also a mystery surrounding Amy. Why is she on the run? Who, and what exactly is her handler? All things that I wanted answered. The sex is there and it is hot but the mystery aspect takes a backseat for a large part of the book, minus the MC's inner monologue in my opinion. Until the last chapter. Everything starts to come undone and Lisa Renee Jones leaves you wanting more. I will certainly be reading the second (and last) book involving Amy Bensen. And I hope that Jones ties it all together for us.
