I received a copy of Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality through Netgalley. This has no bearing on my review.

I read this book in less then a day and I loved it. It was Mean Girls and Toddlers and Tiaras mashed together.

Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality is about Lexi. Sixteen year old Lexi spends her weekends either working or following her mother and younger sister to different beauty pageants around Texas. The only thing Lexi looks forward to during the pageants is a chance to talk to Logan, hot guy extraordinaire. There's a problem though. Logan's girlfriend is sure to be the next Miss USA and Lexi, well, Lexi is pretty sure Logan has no interest in her, the girl who has "a great personality."

After striking a deal with her friends (Benny talks and asks his crush Chris on a date and in exchange Lexi will add more style to her wardrobe and add two hours to her non existent beauty routine)Lexi becomes a "Glam Girl".

With her transformation Lexi has her first kiss, her first boyfriend and some glances from Logan but there is a price. Her seven year old sister thinks she's trying to steal attention away, her mother so focused on pageants steals her money and Lexi almost loses her best friend. Lexi has to figure out if what she's always dreamed of having is actually so great in reality.

The story is a quick read with plenty of laugh out loud moments. But there were some faults. A lot of the characters were "just there" and had weak development (Logan, Lexi's father and Cam) And it's true- there is no such thing as "Bitch Remover."
