This is a hard review for me to write. I loved this book and yet I hated every single page. Why? Because it was as if he was describing my son. Last year started a new course for us and one of my sons therapists recommended I read this book. We had yet to have a diagnoses but at three years old my son was non verbal and we were starting to use an assisted communication device. I got the book the next day but didn't read it for another 3 months. When I did finally read it I cried and I laughed. I even yelled at the book a few times. The writing is great and most importantly honest. There is nothing fake or sugar coated in the book. Just like in his blog the author takes a no holds barred look at his life with Schuyler.
