If there is only two books left in the world, Friday Night Alibi and 50 Shades of Gray, then I say by all means choose this book. Otherwise let it be. Unless you want to read about an immature girl who spends her Friday nights holed up in her room while she pretends to give her friends alibis so mommy and daddy won't take away they're trust funds. The writing is immature and flat. I felt unconnected to the characters and ended up skimming parts in the middle and the end.
